We are pleased to announce that the Chiba Factory and Hachinohe Technology Center, obtained certification to ISO 13485:2016, the internationally recognized standard for quality management systems for medical devices and the basis of medical device regulations worldwide, on October 27, 2026.
Our corporate group is actively expanding its business in the medical device sensor market. As part of this initiative, we have obtained ISO 13485 certification for the design and development processes of our ultra-high-speed surface temperature sensors.
With this certification, we have established a quality management system that meets the stringent requirements of the medical device industry, enabling us to develop and provide safer and more reliable products.
In addition, an increasing number of international markets require ISO 13485 certification as a prerequisite for business transactions. This achievement is expected to create new business opportunities in medical fields, particularly in North America and other global markets.
