SEMITEC’s refrigerant gas sensor module is thermally conductive gas detection sensor that is used the unique ultra-compact and highly sensitive thin film thermistor element.
It can be used to detect leakage of slightly flammable refrigerant gas R32 which is mainly used in air conditioning equipment.
Because of the heat conduction type, unlike general gas detection sensors, there is no need for replacement and it can be used continuously even after exposure to leakage gas, which can be expected to reduce maintenance costs.
In addition to R32, it is also capable of detecting R290 (propane), hydrogen, and R744 (carbon dioxide).
